Aurora Children Lab offers free activities for the children of the schools of the Aurora neighborhood, in Turin, and support to their parents in their relationship with teachers, placing at the center the value of relationships between inhabitants of the same neighborhood
Support for the children of the Aurora neighborhood schools and their parents
For families of foreign origin living in Turin, linguistic and cultural barriers can become a problem in everyday life, at school as well as in the neighborhood where they live.
Aurora Children Lab accompanies elementary and middle school children and their families with the aim of overcoming these obstacles in a path of participation in the life of the Aurora neighborhood, collaborating with them to build a social network that makes them feel an integral part of the community in which they live.
Aurora Children Lab offers students school support activities, reading, expression and creativity workshops (music, photography) and a workshop on promoting the correct use of social media.
Parents, on the other hand, are offered support in periodic meetings with teachers and professors, so as to facilitate linguistic and cultural communication between the family and the school institution for the benefit of the quality of their children’s educational path.
